The original Uoo Uoo has been created by a Melbourne artist Alexander Knox, its shape being a combination of a wombat and a dugong.
Combining Victoria’s passion for art and culture with a dash of outdoor adventure, Me and UooUoo encourages individuals, families and businesses to get moving and contribute to the enduring legacy of the RCH for future generations.
The Uoo Uoo sculptures will be decorated by well-known and emerging artists and will be placed in various locations around Geelong and Melbourne. The event will run for 10 weeks from 20 January – 21 March 2021 and will conclude with an auction of the UooUoo’s.
