The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #EachforEqual, and financial equality remains central to this goal. In fact, the latest research from Investment Trends based on a survey of 13,000 Australians indicates that women are seeking to become more financially savvy. For these women, knowledge and further education are central to their investment story.
Anecdotally, women are substantially more likely to collaborate and discuss ideas about finances with family and friends than their male counterparts. Additionally women across all age groups seem to place a greater emphasis on ethical, socially responsible and environmentally responsible factors with their investments.
Through Wealth Built Right I love being able to provide advice to women seeking to take control of their investments and future. Women ranging from business owners to corporate executives or those coming to the end of their careers and determined to plan for a fulfilling future.
In line with this year’s International Women’s day theme we are finding that many women are looking to take control of their financial wellbeing and we’re determined to empower them to do so!
